Restoration of Historic Springhouse

In 2014 a donation was made to the Friends of South Park to be used for a project within the park. That project (decided on in 2015) turned out to be the restoration of a springhouse located by the Girl Scout Cabin.

The springhouse was built circa. 1800 and was part of the Oliver Miller Property as far as can be determined. It’s listed in Mrs. Miller’s name in an old map book referenced at the Mt. Lebanon Library. If anybody has any additional information as to the history of this springhouse, please contact us.
